Release of the book “Oman: In the footsteps of Sinbad the Sailor” – An illustrated journey to the heart of Omani heritage”

Since April 11, 2025, French bookstores have welcomed « Oman : sur les traces de Sinbad le marin », a travel diary by Stéphane Barroux and Lionel Rabin. This illustrated book is the result of a journey made in 2024, during which Barroux discovered Oman, a country dear to his friend and co-author.

From historic ports to the Hajar Mountains, through spectacular wadis and deserted beaches, the artist has captured the soul of the Sultanate with his inks and the eye of a world traveler. The book pays homage to the legendary beauty of this country, still little known in Europe, and to the hospitality of its inhabitants.

With this publication, Oman further asserts its cultural influence in France, through a sensitive and inspired perspective.
