GREEN NET COOPERATIVE
Green Net is a Thai cooperative founded in 1993 by an NGO bringing together organic rice producers with the support of CLARO. Since 2000, the organization has had two main branches: Green Net Coop, in charge of the commercial part of the activity, and Earth Net Foundation, in charge of supporting producer organizations. Since its inception, the Green Net network has been a pioneer in the promotion and development of organic farming in Thailand in response to the development of agro-industrial sectors resulting from the “Green Revolution”.
