Promoting cultural excellence in the Indian Ocean

TOURISMER enhances the visibility of the cultural landscape of the Indian Ocean, aiming to position the region as one that harmoniously blends respect for traditional practices with a commitment to cultural innovation.

Art constitutes a fundamental expression of the identity and history of the peoples of the Indian Ocean. The artists of this region transmit unique accounts and rich visions, anchored in their environment and their cultural heritage.
The art galleries occupy a central place in the enhancement of these talents, facilitating the dissemination of local creations to an extended audience. By exhibiting works that illustrate the diversity and cultural evolution of the Indian Ocean, they contribute to the recognition and preservation of artistic heritage, while promoting innovation and intercultural dialogue.
Through this showcase, Tourist Association highlights the partner galleries and artists who make the artistic scene in the region shine. By offering them increased visibility, we want to support their commitment and allow them to reach a wider audience, both locally and internationally.
We thus encourage the emergence of new collaborations, the valuation of know-how and the promotion of a dynamic artistic scene which contributes to the cultural and economic attractiveness of the Indian Ocean.
